Networking Newbie
So over the past week I've started really getting my teeth into networking.
Yesterday we attended Business Exchange for the first time as a taster. It's a really friendly and warming event. All the members know each other and are very welcoming to the 'pink' newbies.
The BXC event starts at 07:45. Having already been to the gym at 06:30 I was starving! So breakfast was served to fill our hungry stomachs!
After breakfast we moved onto the tables to share our "Wicked Issue".
We were on tables of about 5 people who all shared their major issue that's keeping them awake at night.
It's good to be able to share your business problems with other like-minded business professionals. Often a "Wicked Issue" can easily be solved by someone looking at it outside the box.
We then looked at our "Aha" moment. The moment when something suddenly became clear or something was discovered... Aha!
So in all it was a very good day. We're returning again on Friday to give it another tester to see how we get on.
