Does the suit make the man?
Since we moved into our office I've felt the need to change the way I dress.
As a website designer I'm quite comfortable in jeans and T-shirt. But as a company director I'm comfortable in a suit.
Due to the work we do, my business partner and I need to change the roles we play. Sometimes we're web/graphical designers/developers. Sometimes we need to make risky decisions and meet people that will judge our appearance and professionalism.
Most people on site in this business park are dressed formally. Which makes sense; Most people are either employees impressing their employers, or are employers wanting to gain respect from their employees.
Whereas myself and Chris don't need to impress each other but we do need to impress clients that visit our office.
So over the past few days I've 'grown out' of my jeans and T-shirts and started wearing formal clothes. The suit even popped out on Friday!
