Day 11 - Monday 26 January 2009

I hope you had a good weekend. I took some much needed time out, caught up on sleep and relaxed! Sometimes when you work hard during the week you just need to take some time out at the weekend.

Let me ask you a question...

I presume you're reading this blog because you want to make money? Yes?

Fantastic! You're reading the right blog!

But do you have an action plan?
Do you know how you're going to make money?
Are you just waiting for the money to find you?

You must be proactive in your money making skills. Look for different opportunities and stick to them. Don't be a dabbler. If you're going to do something make sure you stay 100% focused.

A man walks up to a Mercedes and is told he can have the car if he can push it. The man tries and tries but cannot move the car. The man is then moved onto the car next to it; a BMW. He is told again if he can move it he can have it. The man tries as hard as he possibly can to move the car but with no luck. It's painful and he doesn't have the motivation.

The man continues down the line of cars, slowly decreasing in value. He eventually gets to a run-down 15 year old Fiat. By this time he has run out of energy so he can't even move this.

Meanwhile, back at the Mercedes, another man tries to move it. He tries harder. He deals with the pain and perseveres. Every push makes a difference. Finally the Mercedes moves and he drives off with the car.

The first man wishes he's stuck with the Mercedes.

There's a lesson to be learned here; If you try at something you will eventually succeed. If, however, you try at one thing, give up, and move onto something else you have wasted your time.

If you put your time and effort into something - don't give up! If you move onto another task you will have completely wasted your time!

Have you got your action plan sorted? If so stick at it. If not, why not? How are you going to succeed?

I'll leave you with that thought. See you tomorrow at 09:00

Simon
