Business Link Start-up Course Review
Yesterday my business partner and I attended the Business Link Start-up Course.
Unfortunately we were only able to attend day 1 since we hadn't predicted how badly our office would suffer being unmanned.
Plus - if I'm completely honest; I didn't find the course of any real benefit.
I'm in no way criticizing or complaining about Business Link or the start-up course. We've found Business Link a fantastic source of support and resources and would highly recommend them.
If you've already started trading and you know what you're doing but need some support; Dormen might be a better option.

If you have a business idea and have no idea what to do; the Business Link Start-up Course would be ideal for you.
We just found it to be a bit basic for our knowledge and understanding. I've got a Diploma in Business at triple distinction level which I completed last year, so for me the course was very basic. But that's because I spent years researching and studying all aspects of business.
But as I said; the course is perfect if you don't know have any real prior knowledge in business - and best of all the course is free!
Having left our office unmanned for the whole of Monday we had a days worth of missed calls and leads to chase-up which we hadn't anticipated!
Another lesson in life learned; always check the syllabus of any course before you sign-up. Also, never leave an office unmanned!
